E-charter permission: The digitalisation of chartering in Greece
Greece has pioneered toward modernising its yacht chartering landscape through the digitalisation of procedures under the new electronic application "e-Charter Permission" for voyages performed entirely within Greek territory and waters and, its advanced counterpart, the "e-Charter Permission Plus" for voyages starting from or concluding in Greece.
As of December 2023, the platform represents a change in Greece's approach to a digitalised yachting setting that streamlines procedures, opening up new opportunities for growth.
