Stephenson Harwood advises Muller and Phipps on its acquisition of Power League Gaming
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Muller and Phipps Group Holdings Limited ('Muller and Phipps') on its acquisition of Power League Gaming FZ-LLC, an e-sports and gaming marketing consultancy based in the UAE.
Muller & Phipps, which specialises in the distribution of technology products across the Middle East, has strategically undertaken this acquisition to diversify its portfolio and capitalise on emerging market trends.
This significant transaction marks Muller & Phipps' first foray into the gaming sector, positioning them to leverage opportunities within this fast-developing industry. It underscores a broader trend towards the heightened importance of the gaming sector in the Middle East, with projections indicating its trajectory to a US$6 billion industry by 2027.
