Stephenson Harwood awarded 'Shipping Law Firm Of The Year'

International law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has won 'Shipping Law Firm of the Year – UAE' at the Chambers and Partners Middle East Awards 2025.

The Chambers and Partners Middle East Awards celebrates elite law firms based on three criteria: outstanding legal proficiency; unwavering commitment to client satisfaction; and significant professional impact. Firms are evaluated through the extensive research process for the Chambers and Partners Global Guide 2025.

Chambers and Partners commended the firm's win by stating, "Stephenson Harwood is well known as one of the leading practices for shipping law globally. Its Dubai office ably lives up to the reputation of the wider law firm, and has gone from strength to strength."

“I am honoured to be part of this team and to see it being recognised as being the best in its field. The dedication and commitment at all levels, from the business support staff, trainees, paralegals, and associates to partners is second to none,” said Rania Tadros, Dubai Office Managing Partner and Head of the firm's Maritime and Offshore Group. “As always, my gratitude and thanks to our clients for the continued trust they place in us to advise on their matters.”

The Middle East Marine, Trade and Offshore team act for a range of clients including shipowners, conglomerates, family offices, financial institutions, governments and state-owned entities, investment companies, national and independent energy companies, P&I Clubs, and trading and commodity houses across the Middle East region and beyond, on both contentious and non-contentious matters that cover common and civil (Arabic) law issues.
